Season 2 of The Trial continues to explore Noyonika Sengupta’s life as a lawyer, but shifts its focus from the legal drama of the courtroom to her personal life and involvement in political conflicts. Her husband, Rajiv Sengupta, pursues a political career, which entangles the entire family in a scandal that tests their relationships and morality.
